Durant, Calera, Colbert, Caddo, Bokchito, Madill, Kingston and around Lake Texoma. A Local Nerd comes to your door, or helps remotely the same day.
Pick a time, we come to your door, and you agree to the rate before we start. Remote help works too when that's faster.
In person from $110/hr. $39 books it, and the rest is charged when the work is done. Remote help $39 for 30 minutes. Card only, no cash or checks. You agree to the rate before we start.
Ask anything you like. We'll explain what we're doing while we do it.
Dead spots, a router in the wrong place, a network nobody can get onto. We fix the coverage first, before anybody tells you to buy faster internet.
Getting a new TV going, tidying up the apps, and making the remote situation sane again. Then we show you the three buttons you need.
Slow, cluttered, full of things you didn't install. We'll clean it up, get it current, and set up a backup that runs on its own.
If you want to understand it well enough to do it yourself next time, tell us when you book. That's our favorite kind of visit.
New phone and everything is in the wrong place. We move it all across, sort the photos out, and make it readable again.
Cameras you can pull up when you need them, a doorbell that rings the right phone, a thermostat that keeps its schedule. We set it up and explain it once.
Wireless printers are badly designed, and it isn't your fault. We'll get it printing and scanning and leave it that way.
Pop-ups, fake warnings, emails that want you to click. We'll clear it out and show you what to look for so the next one doesn't get you.
Lake Texoma changes what this market needs. A lake house that sits empty half the month needs internet that stays up with nobody there to reboot it, cameras that work from three hours away, and a TV setup guests can figure out. In town, Durant is growing fast, and a new house needs its internet, TV and doorbell set up right the first time.
Texoma has a big retirement population on both sides of the river, and a lot of them are the family tech support for everyone else. If that's you, we're happy to be the person you call instead.

Yes. One-on-one help for older adults is work we like. We go at your pace, and we'll write the steps down for you to keep.
We do. Most of what people call broken is a setting, an update, an account or a connection, and we fix those. Screens, batteries, parts and data recovery from a failed drive are somebody else's job, and we'll tell you that up front.
What opens a market is a Local Nerd who knows the area, likes people, and is good at explaining things. Set your own availability, keep the majority of every booking, and help your neighbors. See what being the Local Nerd in Durant involves or apply here.
