Stillwater, Perkins, Cushing, Perry, Yale, Pawnee, Drumright, Stroud and the towns along the way. A Local Nerd drives to you for house calls, or helps remotely when that's faster.
Pick a time, we come to your door, and you agree to the rate before we start. Remote help works too when that's faster.
In person from $110/hr. $39 books it, and the rest is charged when the work is done. Remote help $39 for 30 minutes. Card only, no cash or checks. You agree to the rate before we start.
Ask anything you like. We'll explain what we're doing while we do it.
If it works in one room and not the next, that's a coverage problem and it's fixable. We start by moving things around, before anybody sells you a bigger bill.
Cleanups, updates, printers that stopped printing, files you can't find, and a backup so one bad day doesn't cost you years of photos.
New phone and everything is in the wrong place. We move it all across, sort the photos out, and make it readable again.
We'll slow down or write the steps out for you whenever you ask. Learning it once beats calling somebody every month.
New TV set up, streaming apps sorted out, remotes that work, and one clear explanation of which button does what.
Wireless printers drop off the network all the time. We'll get yours connected, printing and scanning, and explain why it keeps disappearing.
Cameras you can pull up when you need them, a doorbell that rings the right phone, a thermostat that keeps its schedule. We set it up and explain it once.
We'll go through what's on there, get rid of what shouldn't be, and show you how to spot the next one.
College towns run on a cycle: everything breaks in August and needs setting up again in January, and getting a laptop ready before the semester is a job we do. Outside town, Payne and Noble counties are rural enough that internet options are limited, and where the router sits decides whether the far end of the house gets a signal.
Stillwater has a lot of grandparents who want to watch a game and see the grandkids on a screen without phoning anybody for help. We set it up once, then teach you, so it stays set up.
Our service area is measured in miles from downtown Stillwater, and the hourly rate steps up the farther we drive. That is 28 towns across Oklahoma, covering Payne, Noble, Logan, Lincoln and Pawnee counties.

Remote help is $39 for a 30-minute session. Yes. We go at your pace and explain things in everyday words. If you'd like to learn to do it yourself, say so when you book.
Yes, if broken means slow, glitchy, locked out, or won't do what it did last week. We don't open machines up to replace parts, and we don't recover data off a dead drive. When that's the problem, we say so and don't bill you for finding it out.
What opens a market is a Local Nerd who knows the area, likes people, and is good at explaining things. Set your own availability, keep the majority of every booking, and help your neighbors. See what being the Local Nerd in Stillwater involves or apply here.
